Hello Marko!
>Hi Tiemo and thanks for a very versatile answer. I cleaned the A multipole pin 18 and got the front head lamps working. I tried to clean also the pin 19, which was actually the one with corrosion, but which probably harmed the pin 18 also. What does the pin 19 do? I'm not sure if it helped enough that I put there rust converter and tried to clean it with a small screwdiver. The "A" multipole is for the left frontside of the car, the "C" for the right.
"A19" is for the low beam filament of the left headlight bulb,
"A18" is for the correspondig high beam filament,
"A9" is for the left front sidelight bulb. For the right side:
"C8" is for the low beam filament of the right headlight bulb,
"C11" is for the correspondig high beam filament,
"C7" is for the right front sidelight bulb. Then I guess you have "town driving lights" or "day driving lights" which use the normal low beam with lesser brightness and have no extra bulbs? To achieve this, there is a resistance wire in the circuitry.
>All the other that had problems in my main message stopped working. The blinkers won't go on at all, not from their own left-right switch, neither from the emergency blinker switch (the notification lamps are on, though). Also the full (night) head light blinkers' notification lamp is on when the full head lights themselves are turned off (and when the lights are on, the lamp is off). Do you (or somebody else) know if there is any map or anything that would tell, which pin affects which? This might be a problem with ground. There are different ground terminals, also multipole, in the front of the car. Check, if connectors give good contact and are not unplugged. Ground connectors always have brown insulation.
One terminal is right to the fusebox on its mounting bracket, then there are additional terminals behind the front lamps, they are for blinkers, headlights, screen wipers/flushers.Annother candidate for the non-function of the blinkers is the flasher relay. It is sitting above the fuses in the most right position nad often carries a big "21" on its back. Pull it out and plug a short wire instead between the terminals "N22" and "N24" of the fusebox. So you shorten the relay contact. If it is the defective part, the blinkers should now light up permanently if you put them on by the left-right switch or the emergency switch (but the indicator lamp won´t).
Maybe there are both (or more) faults at the same time.
>Also the motor won't go on at all. Few days back it still went on, and the last time it was on there was some diesel leaking under the gas control pedal when it was on. I cleaned the pre-heating part with the rust converter but this leakage problem is a new one. See the pic: http://oi62.tinypic.com/2e5vaev.jpg That´s a problem. Your injection pump must get new seals. the marked up position of a leak ist the "KSB"-cable (cold start adjustment). Unfortunatly, it cannot be repared without dismounting the whole pump and thus the repair is quite costly (about 1000EUR in germany). As long as it is leaking, there will always air be sucked in, the fuel will run back into the tank and cranking the machine will take long time, until fuel is back to the pump.
Greets,
Tiemo
